HYDRA was acquired by passionate Scandinavian sailors who believe that luxury and performance need not be contradictory. We have outfitted this Nautitech 44 Open to bridge the gap between a high-speed offshore cruiser and a high comfort. HYDRA is a rare Charter Cat offering performance an equipment level's you would typically only see in non-charter boats.

• With large overlapping Genoa (54 m2) and Main Sail (75m2) the lift needed to glide in light air is there but taking the above 12-15 knots in more fresh conditions

• Further with a massive 157 m² Furlström XL downwind sail, she effortlessly reaches speeds well into the teens even in mild conditions

• Upwind sailing: with HYDRA’s ultra-slim hulls and high-aspect deep keels make pointabililty similar to that of monohuls with AWA up to 30

• Responsive helm usually reserved monohulls due the far aft placed rudders.

• Easy handling: Dual-side electronic engine controls combined with aft placed rudders makes tight quarter and short handed docking an ease.

• Energy Independence: A massive 30kWh Lithium battery pack

• 10kW Victron Quattro inverter powerering Air Conditioning, galley appliances, and electronics without the noise of a generator.

• Ultimate Autonomy: A high-output Water Maker ensures you remain off-grid as long as the wind allows.

• Full Cockpit enclosure for wind or faul wheather protection (only available in shoulder seasons)
